I can't imagine ANY disc jockey would want to spin records for radio's equivalent of minimum wage.

Some of the larger companies (Meruelo is not one of them) will tie in bonuses to doing other duties or hitting certain demos on the ratings.

The only perk to make additional bonus money, doing club events for CHR type stations, personal appearances for businesses. But even those are starting to dry up.

Radio is not what it used to be. Just wait until AI starts running the show.
