I'm in Upper Michigan and was telling my cousin today of how I haven't had any radio, nor noise on for WEEKS, going on a month.
This is not like me. I've had the radio on since I was, 10-11. Collected the charts weekly for decades.
I think it was the same 11 songs from the same 4 artists. Then I went to http://big8radio.com/, https://keener13.com/ or https://kyaradio.com/ and I'm BURNED to a crisp!
The music is SO SLOW to add now, and I never was too much into Oldies/Classic Hits. Hated Classic Rock, so here I am. "So is it SALES or PROGRAMMING?"
The same 5 commercials, news I saw online on a newscast a day and a half later, a song released NINE WEEKS AGO, makes a slow climb up the charts, filler songs by artists in their 30's 40's 50's go to #23 and drop off. These people have peaked! Anyhoo, that's it.
The jocks? Tell me more about visiting your FB page, the app or mention Google Play or Siri once more. If it's a talk show, 20 minutes on what you did yesterday. (There's one up here, "loves" this or that place. All sponsors. Would have to have an IQ of a squid......what trash!)
Never liked TV. I LOVED RADIO, but my ears need a cleansing!

I did have Es (E skip) up here yesterday, and while it was Dallas, Waco TX and New Mexico (95.1) it sounded so much better than what I'm used to.

One station I like (formatically) is 95GMO.
