The old building was sold to another company who leases it out to a few business offices.
The WXLC and WKRS tower site was sold to vertical bridge. The building is still there and vacant. Doubt anybody wants anything to do with a building that floods out like that.
All of the stations you mentioned are in the mall. They combined Kenosha and Waukegan into the mall. They signed on there right as the pandemic was happening, in March 2020.
WIIL's on air staff all do something else aside from Tom Kief. The afternoon host Don Wilson is a sales guy for the cluster. The evening host is the promotions guy for example.
The AMs are going toward more network programming. WKRS already was aside from 1 or 2 local shows.
