One thing about WLS is they are very limited in the 90s they play compared to most of those stations.

WRIT in Milwaukee is already playing songs as recent as 2009

WCBS and K-Earth 101 all have a ton of 90s and 2000s now.

WLS-FM just Santana - Smooth, a few Ace of Base cuts, a Goo Goo Dolls cut and a Spin Doctors cut.

The Drive added a handful of 90s cuts (Mostly Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica) after 95.5 launched. Not much.

The River on the other hand is way into the 90s and 2000s.

I'm just waiting for them to evolve WLS' music which will happen eventually. But given The Drive is their competition, it probably doesn't really have to right now.
