As for WLS-FM's rock lean, they're being programmed by The Loop's previous PD and are acting more as a semi-replacement. I don't think the airstaff on there were ever very high energy at least since it was an Oldies station, which would have been 10 years ago. Even before that the presentation was always more downtempo.

Might as well toss 100.3 into the mix. They are not a Classic Hits station, but they are a more modernized variation these days "Hits Of The 80s, 90s & 2000s" If that sounds familiar, it should since they've done similar with that frequency before.
