Trump wants to open the Strait of Hormuz and has repeatedly announced that the US Navy will escort ships through it. This is not a priority for China, for whom the Strait is open, or the EU, which is not so dependent on deliveries from there. Perhaps Japan or South Korea, though.
I assume that this war will be very costly for the US, not only in terms of the cost of ammunition, but also in terms of repairing relations with all the other allied countries, which will likely require more competent future US governments. Remember that the Arab countries in the region promised to invest in the US. They have money, and lots of it.
Hopefully, China will not exploit the situation, for example by taking advantage of depleted US weapon stocks and the movement of troops away from the Pacific.
Russia is likely to profit from the situation due to reduced missile deliveries to Ukraine and high oil prices. Trump is even helping Putin by lifting oil sanctions.
