Yea I think these are an oddity in the fact there is more inner cable than outer seath. inner cable for drivers side goes from the drum to the center pull rod for the handle over to the passenger side. The outer seath only goes from the drum to the trailing arm pretty much.

If I disconnect it and slip it thru the center pivot i should be able to pull it most of the way out without even having to remove the outer seath from anything. Then I can spray and clean away.

We shall see this weekend. If its still crap I will order 2 new ones then.

I know if you dont use it regularly it can rust up solid. But I know dont leave a car parked for long periods with it engaged either which I dont.
