Some of the worst arguments I've ever seen have been in the name of religion... And some of the nastiest people I've ever known have been religious zealots.

Me? I'm either a "generic protestant" (the polite version) or an "agnostic" (the not so polite version).

I believe in God (even tho I'm still Very VERY pissed off at Him over what He did to John). I believe in Jesus Christ. HOWEVER, I do NOT believe in any type of organized religion. Every one I've experienced has been set in their own doctrine.

I prefer to see God in nature, in His creations. In the face of a child. In the call of a bird. In the glory of the mountains. And that's where He and I have our best moments (even when I'm ranting at Him).

A song by a John Denver wanna-be with the unlikely name of Sunny Waters pretty much says it all for me:
