After visiting with vet, here is where we stand. Instead of an ACL, we have a screwed up patella and hip bones. Both hips are bad. He needs to visit an orthopedic surgeon. We have one about 1.5 hours away. A private practice. Their waiting list is about 4 months behind BUT if we keep Champ on a leash and manage his pain, he should do ok. Tom is heartbroken.
