Only good breeders will not breed from lines with medical issues.

For anyone looking for a puppy in the future - that is one of the questions you can and should ask. I am not going to get the terminology right - but you can ask for the medical verification of things like clear eyes, hips and knees. If they don't test, or won't show you - RED FLAG!!
