It's now official. The GOP controls all three branches of government.

The democrats spent a fortune on down ballot races and lost them all. They can only pay the spoiler now and hope they do enough damage to earn a seat at the table next year.

I wonder if they really learned a lesson by this ballot box slaughter. You can only call so many people names, start witch hunts and weaken the national security before you get spanked.

All that money and all that media adoration and what did it get them? Doing damage is exactly what they will try opi, because they just can't fathom that they did anything wrong.

Maybe the GOP will grow a spine now, but I doubt it.

It has nothing to do with any of that.

What they need to do is invest in buying AM radio stations, do more lying, double down on the lies, double down on the name calling, and get people into an airtight news bubble and then they shall triumph.

They need to downplay the shortcomings of their own candidates, and then TRUMP UP what the other people are saying, even if they only said one thing.

Democrats tried to win the debate on things that we hold dear and standards we would expect of any adult who studied civics.

Human decency be damned. It could win a debate, it could give you a gold star in Sunday school....

But it doesn't win elections.

For logic that defies human decency and human reason, to win an election, it's time to double down on all of it.

Maybe we'll implode and destroy ourselves in the process....but good governance is no longer a qualification of a leader in the minds of Americans. It's not easy to accept, but noone called and asked me.

If Democrats could take the next billion and set all that up, they'll see three branches of control by 2032....if we last that long.

Maybe they can also double down on assassination attempts. Oh wait they can't do that very easily since Mayorkas will soon be going bye-bye. I'm not sure it's even possible for them to double down on lies. That's a very tough ask.

Maybe next time they can also double down on saying they grew up in a middle-class family.
