Biden-Harris Attempt to hide Border Crisis before electiom

Border Patrol officials criticized the Biden-Harris administration for its "blatant attempt" to downplay the "optics" of the ongoing border crisis "to protect their image before the election."

The administration has instructed Border Patrol agents to ship illegal immigrants from the overcrowded San Diego Border Patrol center to border towns in Texas and Arizona, to avoid releasing them onto the streets of San Diego, sources told the New York Post.

San Diego County Border Patrol supervisor Jim Desmond called this migrant transfer a "blatant attempt" by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris "to protect their image before the election."

"This isn’t about securing the border for the Feds—it’s about optics," Desmond said.

Every week the San Diego Border Patrol center, which is at 122 percent capacity, sends "numerous buses" full of illegal immigrants to Yuma, Arizona, and "three to four planes" to McAllen, Texas, Desmond said.

"They don’t want street releases because it will look negative on Kamala Harris. All San Diego NGOs are at full capacity and cannot take any more," another Border Patrol source told the Post.
Yuma County supervisor Jonathan Lines said the Biden-Harris administration "continues to move people around to minimize the optics of an open border" as Election Day approaches.

"The border is not a priority for this administration. Women and children have suffered at the hands of cartels. This is a border security crisis of epic proportions, which has turned into a humanitarian crisis throughout the U.S.," Lines told the Post.

If only Trump had not directed Republicans to kill the bipartison border bill. If only he wasn't so focused on himself instead of a path to help solve the border issues. You know, put the needs of the American people above his own.

Bipartisan, Blu. Trump killed it because he wanted immigration to be a campaign issue for him. If he won, he could have expanded upon it. Instead, he'd rather do nothing so the problems get worse.

It was not a border security bill. Look at the money appropriated for Ukraine., Israel, and Taiwan for Pete sakes. It was a foreign aid bill.

If so, it worked. It's still one of the top three issues for this election preceded by out-of-control prices and succeeded by abortion.

In border states it's number 1. I think IF Harris loses, exit polls will show this is what cost her the election.

Personally, I'm blessed enough that the cost of groceries and gas isn't hurting me.

I don't like abortion, but I won't die on that hill.

I do however want my children and grandchildren to be able to walk the streets when we get back to making criminals the bad guys.

I hope and pray no one on here or their family members are never the victim of these animals from gangs south of de border who have murdered several innocent young women and raped them in the process. I don't wish that on anyone including the one poster on here I can't stand.

Immigration was already a campaign issue, it had zero to do with this do nothing legislation. You dont wait 3.5 years after saying the border is secure and then try to do a quick, ineffective, bandaid non fix because you are feeling the heat. Trump didnt kill anything, he didnt have a vote. Nice hedge with a little something for evrybody, but not completely accurate of course. I know you had to toss them crumbs to the resident lefties, before your actual pretty dead on ending. Walking that tightrope cant be easy opi, you are in a tough spot, I get it.

I believe he did kill it, and you are right, it worked to an extent. It also gave Dems a valid argument that Trump wasn't as concerned about the border as he was having something he could blame Harris for and that he and he alone could take credit for if he won.

I think whoever wins will address and improve border security, not in the same way, but it will improve greatly, but both sides better get ready to compromise and come up with another bipartisan plan.

There are many people in this country who want zero immigration and have been convinced that everyone immigrating are criminals, come from insane asylums, they are trash, etc etc. Just not true, despite Trump's rhetoric.

Joe, I 100% agree with this. Biden/Harrits did nothing about the F'ed up border until they saw what the polls were showing. You don't put the condom on after the girls says she's pregnant.

No tightropes on these three issues. The main thing you and I disagree with on Trump isn't policy. It's delivery. He needs to focus and stay on topic because every time he goes off the rail about the non-issues, the media runs with it.

Make no mistake though, I want to see Harris leaving D.C. on Jan 20th. I want border security, respect for police and a tough on crime policy. Trump just tends to alienate a part of the voting public that he needs this time.

It’s obvious. Immigration has been a problem For decades. The laws were on the books, but we’re not enforced. Trump is the first president to take it serious and keep the illegals numbers down.

I doubt it Soccer. The dems will want to do it slowly with very little force to deter. I think we need to finish the wall, increase the number of agents and patrols and do a much better job of vetting legal entries.

Welcoming immigrants is different than giving someone the keys to the city, housing, food and free schools. For the first time in history, we are seeing schools forced to teach ESL. We are seeing more kids living with relatives and needing assistance. It's breaking down public education.

I guess I would put myself in the place of the parents of the girls who were killed by these animals and yes, they are animals. I don't know how I would go on if my son and daughter were the victims of a killer who wasn't supposed to be here or was in prison and released because of soft on crime policies.

No, I would go hunting. At my age, why would I care if I was sent to prison for wasting someone who hurt my family? Believe me, vigilante justice is coming if we don't get a handle on this.
