Registered Voters in Georgia

A review of the millions of registered voters in Georgia found just 20 noncitizens were registered to vote, Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced Wednesday.

Those 20 people were removed from the state’s voter rolls – which total 8.2 million – and have been referred to local law enforcement, he said. Of the 20, only nine actually ever cast a ballot.

No surprise with the number in Georgia. The true numbers would most likely be similar in all states.

The voter fraud and noncitizens that MEGA insist is happening, simply is not. The election have proved to be free and fair on every level.

All the lies that Trump keeps repeating are to keep his MAGA clan in order. He knows they believe every lie he tells.

Wow? Only 20? Heck, Virginia nailed over six thousand illegals who were registered and purged them from the rolls.

Why? WHY? Would the DOJ sue Virginia to make sure the illegals could still vote in this election? Doesn't the DOJ want a fair election??

Oddly no response from the "we do not have voter fraud, our elections are fair and legal" folks. This is just one city, imagine California? Illinois? New York? And a dozen others.

This was addressed in a previous post Marshall. Read your own article...Virginia is violating the 90 day "quiet period"... it's not legal to remove folks within 90 days of an election... here's the excerpt from the DOJ

Section 8(c)(2) of the NVRA, also known as the Quiet Period Provision, requires states to complete systematic programs aimed at removing the names of ineligible voters from voter registration lists no later than 90 days before federal elections. The Quiet Period Provision applies to certain systematic programs carried out by states that are aimed at striking names from voter registration lists based on a perceived failure to meet initial eligibility requirements — including citizenship — at the time of registration

Is someone required to post a response to your comment within a certain period of time? This was posted and responded to previously.

The DOJ is not fighting the law, they are enforcing it. What don't you understand about there being a 90 day period before a Federal election where it is not legal to remove voters from the rolls. It's very possible this would effect people who are, in fact, citizens and they would be denied the opportunity to vote because there may not be enough time to straighten out any misunderstanding.

Purge the rolls, remove non citizens legally, not right before a Federal election.

Al Gore -- I was years away from even being able to vote then.

I have to chime in on the 90 day rule. They're saying it's better to have an illegal vote than to possibly deny a citizen their vote. I disagree. If you can't prove you're legal before an election, no vote. You know when elections are and have plenty of time to get registered.

Virginia had 4 years to "purge" voter roles. They waited to do it. Why? People were removed for all
sorts of reasons, not just because they are illegal.

There is no doubt that most of those removed are legal citizens. The problem is Virginia waiting so long. Smells of voter suppression because of the time line not allowing enough time to prove citizenship.

And those illegals had four years to register. Here's the deal though. Those people have obviously been too lazy, too stupid, or too complacent to become legal voters. They don't care and probably won't vote. And if they do, there's a chance they might vote Trump.

Trump should focus on getting out his voters and make sure they don't sit home thinking he has won.
He can't worry about what he perceives as democrat vote rigging. It was a waste of his time in 2020 and would be again.

Soccer, one has only to look at the pathetic voter turnout in our own little city to see what laziness and complacency gets.

I read somewhere we had less than fifteen percent voter turnout at the last mayor election. Then keyboard warriors want to whine about what this Parkinson guy is doing.

Hell, in Illiois people can now register at the polls so there is no excuse for such pathetic turnout. Of course, in Illinois, the GOP complacency might be explainable. It's only been in the last decade that the democrats have lost the county.

So you're saying that elections can be manipulated and aren't always fair and square? I still say you have plenty of time and opportunities to prove citizenship before elections. Better to purge a legal who can't prove citizenship than to let an illegal vote. IMO

Sorry Bob, Presidential elections unleash my wildey, there so important, plus I’ve seen first hand how a particular Party plays.

I faced threats of jail time and permanent censorship at Facebook so I only post cute animal videos and wish Happy Birthdays to my friends there now..
