Marshall, I would think the savings you mentioned were negated by all of the hoops the schools had to jump through to make virtual school happen.
Laptops, delivered meals, additional cleaning supplies in the form of sanitizers, etc... I have not heard if the state paid the schools for the time they were down. I do know the staff never lost a dime of income so expenditures were still there.
