Don’t tell me about hard times Dee. I grew up poor. I saw my parents struggle to pay the bills. I saw my dad on more than one occasion hock a piece of jewelry or borrow from a family member.
You know what he never did? He never whined and cried. He never went on welfare. He never expected the government to send him a check.
