I suppose you have a reason for going back so many years with your Denham example, but thankyou for the history lesson anyway. Ive witnessed the Granite City Mayor take a few hits on this site but i wasnt fortunate enough to actually see any of these blood baths you speak of.
Now as for this Topix Freak, didnt someone make it clear that the people who run this site would never allow multiple personalities to comment from the same IP address? If that isnt the case maybe someone should drop that that suggestion into the suggestion box, it seems quite reasonable.
I still think the list of dos and donts would be most helpful and would serve as a guide for both the old timers as well as the newbies. I was thinking maybe even a panel could be formed to monitor which comments were deemed appropriate and which ones not, but maybe we can try lesser measures first.
