I think the Democrats have become a little bit more than too comfortable, and any token Republican that gets anywhere in this gloom and doom republic will be some democrat Lite like Rauner. The Peoples Republic of Illinois isnt even in the same league as the great state of Missouri when it comes to having solid leadership.
Democrat ideas tend to have the most support before anyone has actually had time to think about them. Democrats however are very good at circling the wagons and they stick together no matter what. Republicans have less intrusive, better ideas, but are too afraid to say them out loud. Yes, its very sad and pathetic, but it is true.
Ooops i almost forgot, while i do have an opinion on this, in the end mostly i just count the days until i can get out of here. Worker A has shown me that it can be done, and i have a vision that one day it will happen for me.
