If this even comes close to resembling Governor Fat Boy's plan, it's nothing more than a smoke screen.
Our county has a very small case and death count compared to Chicago. We should allow all businesses to open with simple restrictions of maintaining some distance. Let residents decide to cower at home or patronize these businesses.
We've gone on with this long enough and we learn today that 66% of cases in New York were infections from people who had stayed at home with very little or no outside contact. Think about that. Shut up in a house, breathing the same air and return air from heating and cooling systems.
Governor Fat Boy is acting on political instincts. If he was concerned about health, why did he let the First Lady of Fat go out and about as well as the Mayor of Chitcago.
Game Over! I hope our County Board members apply common sense to this issue. Those who don't will face tough times next election.
