WRONG! If you make a false accusation against a police officer, he can sue you. If you make a remark against an elected official, he most often can't.
If you say Cop A is ugly and lazy. That's opinion and you're certainly entitled to say it. If you say Cop A stole money and you are proven wrong, see what happens.
You can't get a law degree from Judge Judy Jeremy. It's not real life.
