You got that backwards. None the less why should people that choose not to have children have to pay for those that do?
For the same reason they paid for yours.
It's a little thing called the Constitution. " All kids be given equal education opportunity regardless of their ethnic background, race, religion or sex". If we don't maintain an education system, we'll raise a generation of idiots incapable of supporting themselves.
