They’re legally obligated to make sure their student gets to school. You’d think that, through average child-rearing, they’d have instilled in their offspring the importance of education and the expectation that they’ll attend and succeed at school. Until they’re of age, that child is the responsibility of the parent(s). Any failing of that child before the age of majority is the responsibility of the parent. I’m not of the opinion it takes a village to raise a child. It takes at least one competent parent to get the ball rolling. That’s where GC is failing.
