I just don't think people understand local politics. They want to take that leap and bunch them all in with one side of people. At the end of the day, we need someone to fix the streets, to put the bad guys in jail, to fight the fires and so on and so forth. I do not owe most of these jackwagons explanations and neither do you. I think you probably are the real conservative here, because you're actually smart enough to know that Trump is not a conservative. You know how to weigh people based on who they are and not give into the temptation to lump them in with a total lot of people. The reactionary side of the right wing is intent on lumping people, labeling them and dividing them....to the point of throwing Mayor Hagnauer in with Nancy Pelosi. All it does, day in and day out, is demonstrate their level of ignorance about the situation and ignorance rules at the ballot box. Madison County probably needed some Republicans to break up a few comfort zones to keep people accountable. But, maybe in the horizon, some new Democrats to break an eventual 'good ole boys' club again. These low-information voters also accuse me of many things that are not true. But I just don't owe them an explanation...and neither do you.
