I don't discount what you're saying. It's just that Trump came in to stump for Bevin as well as Pence.
I don't have any pretense that Kentucky is going for some change. A Democrat in Kentucky probably makes an Illinois Republican look like Bernie.
I also don't think the GOP is quick to shrug this off.
Much of Kentucky, such as Bourbon Country and the Lake area did as predicted. However, around Louisville and Covington the switches were being made in suburban areas, and even in the coal country there seemed to be a switch from what was predicted.
Because people believe that dirt should have more of a voice than the people, we are stuck with the antiquated electoral college...and Trump likely still gets Kentucky's electoral votes.
I still hold out hope that maybe a nice retirement party for Moscow Mitch is in the works, and maybe some other flips lately.
Either way, one small victory yesterday was worth a sip of Kentucky Bourbon.
