I want a defense that doesnt go off on nation building jaunts, but i dont want to be over run by the Chinese because they see an opportunity someday. If we gut defense so we can be every citizen and illegals daddy, that wont work. Once the gubment takes health care over, who is going to want to take the risk of pouring any money into research and development anyway? Im not John Wayne on defense, but im not Jane Fonda either. Id say i may be closer to Rand Paul than John Bolten on this topic, but ill never be Ralph Nader, sorry.
