It's nothing about denial...it's just a horrible argument.
How the Party of Andrew Jackson became the party of Obama is as mystifying as to how the roles reversed and the Party of Lincoln has denigrated into the Party of Trump.
I don't deny the historical argument...I actually studied it and am quite familiar with it.
I mean it is a construction that may work for low-information voters and may sway them - but it doesn't work for anyone with a scintilla of critical thinking skills.
I am sorry to be blunt in my assessment as people could take that personally, but Steve Bannon had these same voters in mind...and Mark Levin and Sean Hannity keep driving that point in when they need three hours to fill and are searching for more ways to legitimize Trump. I give them credit for trying...
It's just a terrible argument.
What you are saying is that, because the DEMOCRATS have racism in their history....that those who would choose them are racist. Why have the DEMOCRATS attracted the votes of minorities?
Are you calling minorities stupid for believing that the DEMOCRATIC Party best represents their interests?
Obviously history is more nuanced than the narrative Seah Hannity, Donald Trump and company want you to believe.
The Party of Trump is also the party of David Duke.

There's nothing to deny here....nothing to hide.
The difference is that I know my history...and that I have the sense to know how these movements have arrived at where they are today.....and why the Democrats ended up championing Civil Rights and the Republicans ended up being the party of the Angry White Man.
So now that you once again demonstrated falling for another trick by the conservative controlled mainstream media..... care to just simply stick to the topic?
