    Bob, you are right about pitchers going 9 in the past. Now once a pitcher gets near 100 pitches they want to take them out. I think i heard once that Nolan Ryan threw 200 pitches in a ten inning game once. Hell, thats half a season for some of these guys today. Gibson, Marichal, Seaver, and others all routinely threw nine inning games and it was no big deal. Nowadays if someone pitches a complete game its some kind of a fluke.
