Pete is running for president because being the mayor of a college town in Indiana was as far as he could go.
Really Wally?? Mayor Pete is a 37 year old veteran who served as an intellgence officer in the Navy Reserve, graduated from Harvard and Oxford (on a Rhodes Scholarship), served a tour in Afghanistan, and speaks 7 languages in addition to English. So mayor of a college town is as far as he can go... don't think so.
And when was Avenatti going to be the pick of the litter for Dems... I sure don't remember that being the case.
