They knew you were coming an just wanted to get it right.

Obviously, that is a failure for Mickey D's by any stretch of the imagination....unless it's that one customer in front of me.

I mean when I happen upon a Culver's, I'm pleased to take a number and pull forward and listen to an entire album before the food comes, believing it to be hot and fresh...but at Mickey Dee's ... Hail noo, it's $#!+ food and we know that's the case and because of it, they better get that $#!+ out yesterday!

    Back to my story...

There's this van that always anticipates my choice for fast food whenever I choose to go that route..

She/he then leaves home 30 seconds before I do...and even though I think I drive faster, they still turn in just ahead of me anyway. I don't know the precise calculus, but it's always the care that turns in before me.

It's the same calculus, explained only by Murphy, that also puts me next to the crying baby on a plane.

Then they pull up and order for 30 with 25 special orders and while placing the order, they are on the cell phone asking each person what they want, changing their order umpteen times...and then when it's rang up, there's a dispute with the total......and then when it comes out, there are things they claim they didn't order or that they got wrong.

Those cars were in front of me every time I hit up fast food in Granite City...and somehow seemed to have kept track on my whereabouts, because they are still in front of me any and everywhere I go.

It's the Karma van in front of me...
