Schumer and Pelosi expected Trump to come in begging them to play nice. Pelosi went on and on about this new transparency, but didnt really seem that wild about he idea that trump had this transparent meeting. As soon as the meeting was over, Pelosi and Schumer ran to their media allies telling them what really happened and to report it the way they were being told to. Of course that goes without saying.
