Trump won Madison County by a decent margin. I dont know how red this county is but it was encouraging to see the GOP finally win the county chairmans seat. I think the trend is red for the county, but its not nearly as red as it was not so long ago blue. John Shimkus kicked the door in and many have followed since him. What was once a very dark blue county is now at least pink.
