The Economic Developer position is now taking applications in Granite City. Please, Mr. Hagnauer – no more political appointments. Appoint the BEST person, be it man or woman. We need a smart, driven and tireless person. Granite City needs this! K-mart, Shop n Save, Corral Liquors, Gitcho’s Gas, the big lot next to Big Mac’s, downtown GC, etc. etc. ALL NEED SOMETHING. My gosh do you have ANY PRIDE at all Hagnauer? Ed, choose the RIGHT PERSON for a change this time. If this town doesn’t make some headway in the next 2-3 years, we will DESPERATELY need a NEW MAYOR, one that has a little bit of vision and energy! Let's all monitor him and if needed please REMEMBER this at election time.
