No two teams have had as high of a winning percentage as the Yankees and Red Sox at this point of the season since 1954. Add to that the Astros who are just a tick behind these two teams and thats quite a threesome. These are the three best teams in the major leagues right now and they will look to get even better before the trade deadline passes. The Yankees are looking for a starting pitcher and probably have their sites on Happ. The Cardinals are said to be in on Moustakas but he wont be cheap. Hes a good hitter and can also play solid defense which this team often does not do. They have made more errors than any team in either league which can deflate a pitching staff. Maybe DeJongs return will help jumpstart this team, but I wouldnt count on it. I wouldnt be surprised if they went into dump mode at the deadline unless things change quickly.
