Every year some people chain their dog outside in the blistering heat. Often they have no water at all or if the bowl of water they do have gets tipped over they have none. Many people buy the cheapest damn chains they can find that crimp up and that have strangled countless dogs. There are laws on the books for animal abuse and severe neglect even if some venues dont pursue these cases. If you see a dog being abused and or severely neglected call the Humane Society. Several years back i did this on a man that horrible neglected his two chained up dogs. Finally after staying after the Humane Society they came out and got his two dogs and the man was charged. Im not sure what happened after that,, but this goes on far to often. If you see something that bothers you dont hesitate, turn the people in, you may well be saving a life. Its pretty easy to tell the difference in someone that left their pet out a little too long than someone that treats their pets like garbage. People that do this to their dogs dont deserve to have a pet, they are not worthy.
