Mayor Pagano posted a message about progress in Pontoon Beach. He stated that LaMexicana might have a buyer that wants to put in an Italian restaurant, possibly a Burger King at the old Amoco station across from Flying-J, someone is interested in demolishing Leroy's and putting in a convenience type store, maybe a Speedway gas at the old BelAir sight. Also, with all the rain we had no flooding like last year with the improvements made so far, with more improvements coming. It's refreshing to see elected folks doing what they're elected to do! Kudos to the mayor, the trustees and the staff at the village for a nice job.
