When Greenwald takes a pay cut I will vote yes on a tax increase. What these people (and government workers in general) don't realise is that we can't vote ourselves a raise to pay for theirs! The average GC salary is about 45k as opposed to 63k for Granite City teachers. AND they get a LOT of vacation time and stellar retirements. Average retirements for teachers are 70k a year! None of my coworkers are making even HALF that!
