As the NL Central looks a month out before the regular season, it appears the Cubs once again are the class of the division. The Brewers appear to have done more to get better than the Cardinals and most likely will again finish in second place. Unless things change via a trade or free agent signing the Cardinals more than likely will be on the outside looking in when the playoffs start. The teams defense appears to be lacking and they are short one starter and they have no closer. The Cardinals arent far away, but this team as currently constructed is not good enough.
