We were just talking about that. Collinsville actually closed today. Edwardsville closed yesterday. Tomorrow, most of the schools around here are closed due to projected wind chills. I get that one but agree with you that closing today would have been stupid.
If it's too cold in your mind to send little Jenny to school, keep her ass home. Many families can't afford the extra day of day care just because you are over protective. I would also ask parents who complain, do you kids stay inside if school is called off or are they outside playing in the snow?
