Free agency is part of baseball. I remember when Pujols left many St.Louis fans called him every name in the book. As it turned out it worked out for them as Albert as slowed considerably. Im pretty sure if this team lands Stanton, nobody around here will be trashing him for leaving his team. IMO they messed up overpaying both Molina and Fowler. If those signings keep them from going after Stanton what a pity that would be. All teams overpay players at some point. The Orioles saw fit to dump a ton of money at Mark Trumbo and Chris Davis which was a total joke. Teams win and lose with the decisions the front office makes and often times the managers pay for their stupidity.
