You talk about the Party at the Beach as a drunken Hoosier Fest as though thats a bad thing. For a nice chunk of people, thats exactly what it is. Who could even argue that??? To others especially during the day its a chance to get out and amuse the kiddies and get some sun. The first few Parties at the Beach i thought were a little shaky, but in the past several years i think the village has done a good job with this event. Sure, some will complain that selling beer is a major turnoff, but cotton candy proceeds dont pay for Charlie Daniels.
