When you are so personally invested, it's hard to contain your anger enough to keep your thoughts and posts straight.

Opi2 says "I also doubt that it's legal for her to remain on the county board while sitting on the MESD board but we shall see."

Even knowing that Ms Hawkins will have to give up her seat to fulfill her new appointment he still attempts to add fuel to the fire, and people into his bash Helen camp by saying this.

Opi2 says "Does anyone know the salary the MESD board gets? I understand it's over 12 grand. Couple that with the money Helen gets from being a county board member (13 grand)".

Opi2 says" I have no issue with her holding ONE elected position. However, holding two elected positions and now an appointed one is feeding at the trough."

Really? That's how you feel now? It wasn't all that long ago you were schooling all of us about nepotism, and how anybody & everybody, if they were to find themselves in the position, that we would all hire, or appoint our friends and family members. How those who didn't like it should just stop whining about it, and admit that we would all do the same thing if given the chance. Even yourself.

Opi2 says"members each receive $15,000.00 per year To go to one meeting a month? No wonder people are lining up and kissing ass to get those positions.

For years you had no problem with this concept. You stated for anyone who did, to get off their lazy asses and toss their hat into the ring, and quit whining over it. But now, since it is Ms Hawkins you do have a problem with this after all.

You have referred to her as being senile, a liar, and have insulted her on a personal and professional level for years. Why not just come clean. This is not a case of someone disliking a public servant, this is very personal with you. Where does this anger come from?

Opi2 says"Sorry, we older folks need to know when it's time to stand down." It's my guess that depends on what side you find yourself standing on. The winning side or the losing side. Well liked, trusted & popular people win elections, and some don't and find themselves on the outside looking in.

    Democracy, isn't it great!
