Maybe I'm just okay with paying my fair share in taxes so a little guy can get an open heart surgery in California or an elderly person in West Virginia can get the heart medication that he desperately needs. It's called taking care of our people. I would be happy if people have a good quality of life.
It's called being a decent human being.
It works in other places and some even have better quality of healthcare, better outcomes, better human development indices.
