    Dee, that's the way insurance works. Wreck your car a couple of times and see if your premiums don't go up or even if you can get coverage.

    Turn in a few claims on your homeowners and see what happens. And oh yeah, if you bought your home in the flood plain before the ridiculous levee threat, see if you can even insure it now without costing a fortune.

    It's a cold hard fact of life that if you cost more to take care of, you'll have to pay more. Provisions are going into this bill to use federal funds to prop up those folks with pre-existing conditions.

    It was and is ridiculous that one of my kids, who thank the Lord are healthy have to buy tons of insurance at their age that they don't need. They have other things to do with their new income besides pay inflated health cost.

    Until the government regulates insurance and the medical world, premiums will be what they are and rules will too. When the government completely takes over watch how bad things an really get.
