Thanks Opie -- you resemble the Granite City I remember growing up in...or at least the good memories I choose to cherish therefrom.
Many, many proud people just like you populated my neighborhood, attended my church, and volunteered in community organizations while growing up there. Many taught me in the classroom and out...
All I am today, I owe to people like that -- and you probably know/knew many of them if we ever got to talking about such things...
