Dee, it's a very valid point. The nation needs to heal. I'm actually one who held off voting for Trump until a couple of weeks before the election.

I frankly grew tired of my liberal friends telling me if I didn't vote for Hillary, I was everything that they said of Trump. It irritated me just enough to mark his name on the ballot.

I was astonished by the win. Almost as much as seeing the Cubs win. I was prepared the next day to take the high road and move on. Then I saw the protest. I was still okay with the right of those kids to walk out of class and do their thing. When I saw the senseless violence and an older man being pulled from his car and beaten, I decided to rub it in the nose of Hillary supporters.

Now's the time to move on though. Just imagine if Trump can move the needle on the economy. Just imagine if he can work with democrats to come up with a better plan for healthcare. What if Mr. Trump could find a way to tighten the borders that still allowed us to be a nation of immigrants but also provided for our safety. He is truly an outsider. He will tire of the position and criticism and more than likely not look at a second term.

I would like the protestors to think about this. Trump is an egotist. He controls both the House and Senate. He will make no fewer than one supreme court appointment. We all know he likes to win and my fear is, if he grows tired of this protesting, instead of reaching toward the middle, he will simply run rough shod over his first two years and do whatever the hell he pleases.
