The man could swing a paddle also. Caught me skippin PE, called me out to the middle of the gym floor, gave me the option of going to the principals office for a 3 day suspension, or taking 3 SWATS. I chose the latter, the first one stung severly, the second one hurt but had a numbing effect, the third one i never felt until latter that night. Folks, believe me, the students of the graduating class of 1969 were respectful, punctial, and studios. We didnt go to school looking like bums that crawled out of a dumpster. We didnt walk around grabbing our wee wees to keep our baggy pants from fallin off. And we respected the teachers. there are a good bunch of students today, way too many losers without respect.
