Good to be back, however briefly.

I can't fathom it, I just can't. All critical thinking tells me this man (Trump) stands for nothing, but will say anything --- and people eat it up. He really says nothing "They're the worst, we're the best, and I'm going to get the best people to make us the greatest....you'll see".

How have we gotten so dumbed down to empower such a person to easily walk his way to being a standard bearer for any party?

Even if the Republicans are usually wrong, there are class characters to be had. Many, over the years stood for prudence, favoring business development. They are the party of Lincoln and Ike...and even (Saint) Ronald Reagan. You play Reagan clips, and he sounds more liberal than deporter in chief, Barack Obama.

There was something to respect in that party, even when people like Newt started crawling up from the ground. Jim Edgar, still a respected class character. Kasich is the last respectable candidate left, in a field that yielded few to begin with. Without him in the fray, it has gone to the dogs.

Some element has gotten a hold of these people, and they are just now off the charts to where they can't be taken seriously. I pity to say that they make the Democrats look like the adults in the room. They love their Constitution, but now do not want the president to fulfill his Constitutional role of naming a Supreme Court justice? These people have gone mad, far worse than when I was on here daily talking about how back they were.

I've never seen anything like it.

It will be a wild ride.

If Opie's commentary on Michelle Obama was something to behold back in the day, I can't wait to see what the next eight years of posts about President Hillary will be like.

I'll be stopping in every few days....
