Great that you paid for your kids' education. If so, how can you support someone who proposes taking your money to educate others? If you buy into that concept it is you who needs your head examined madam.

    Common sense? Well that's interesting.

Dr. Ben Carson not only appears to have a great deal of common sense. He is also a much higher educated person than you or I. Common sense is derived from observation and experience. He certainly seems to have that background.

Donald Trump is also very well educated. He has amassed a fortune larger than that of the entire Granite City population. That took some common sense, some business savvy and some guts.

That's not an endorsement of either at this time but it does discredit the idea they don't have common sense.

Now on the other hand, you have a woman running for the highest elected office in the nation who allegedly doesn't know about storage on a server and on erasing e-mails. You have a woman whose votes sway more than her hips. " I'm for the trade bill". "Oops, after further pressure, I'm against it".

Bernie Sanders has a heart, a big one. Unfortunately there's no common sense way to accomplish his plans Ask any high school student if they think all colleges offering free education is good for their future. Their common sense will say, someone has to pay for it. Who will teach at these universities? Surely they won't be paid what they're being paid now. But let's dumb it down a little so all people can go.

If you consider that as common sense practices, more power to you. It's not an America I want to live in though. I worked hard for my money to provide for my family and hearing you, I guess you did the same. So why should we support those who don't strive for the same goals?
