    Actually, you may be correct in some cases. But back then you could do that stuff because every swinging hammer didn't have his or her own business.

    Nowadays instead " I pulled my self up and got er done with hard work!" You have that BUT you also have "I utilized my technological understanding to freelance computer code and become a contractor (not a small business)."

    You had less people to deal with and good on you for not being a bum.

    But realize it's not "that easy" anymore.

    Competition is WAY up (exponentially more people per square mile, connected (meaning they have better access to better vehicles, internet (think about that for a moment, that changes it all), and the things I mentioned above about everyone thinking their business and the ultra-competition there.

    It's not an excuse but maybe a different angle to look at.

    As far as prices go up. I'm ok with it. Our park is nice and I'm good with taking care of our people.
