Brenda Whitaker has been the most dynamic and forward thinking city council member I have ever worked with. She has been a tireless and passionate worker and has achieved more in a few short years than most people get done in a lifetime. In fact, if you want to sum up her most notable quality, she got stuff done and at a very high level. She is truly a visionary, but she didn't spend a lot of time blowing her own horn, was too busy working rather than talking about what she did or was going to do and didn't play at politics. Unfortunately that cost her 4 votes and the election. But now I would urge all of her friends and supporters to shower her with love and affection and what can you do you ask? Go down to the Garden Gate to eat, take a friend, take a lot of friends and then go to the Alfresco Art Center and see one of the outstanding productions being put on there and show her that this city truly does value what she has accomplished!
