Then Whisker, I ask again. Why aren't more people running for office? We had a choice between 7 people today for 3 seats on the board. Several aldermen races were unopposed.
Candidates in Pontoon were unopposed.
Tell me why, if there is such outrage about no morals, why we didn't have more candidates today. The reason is so simple. Most of us don't want to sit and be criticized over our choices. Personally it wouldn't be worth the slams, the innuendo, the lies, the rumors from the people of the community who do nothing but sit around and gripe while they do nothing but woof down pork rinds.
Criticize them if you will. That's our right. But until others have the guts to RUN, not just vote, the griping won't mean a damn thing.
